I discovered watercoloring in college through a costume design course. Watercolor is a wonderful medium for transferring the folds and wrinkles in clothing to the canvas as the method allows you to stack multiple transparent layers and create depth and shadows in a natural way. I’ve continued hobby after college as a way to relax and clear my mind. I have experimented with foliage, landscapes, and even architecture, and always enjoy trying new techniques and pigments.
